The filter
is designed to attenuate longitudinal noise on a single balanced copper
pair from the network in to telecommunications terminal equipment. The
filter will attenuate interfering voltages of 50Hz fundamental and harmonics
through the speech band 200 - 4KHz. The filter will pass line feed current
and ringing signals on 600ohm impedance circuits.
