The converter (MOD9485) enables a dial on demand service to give connectivity of traditional audio E & M ports over ISDN2 basic rate interface (BRI).

With the fast call set-up of ISDN network (250mS), applications may include replacement of traditional private circuits with ISDN2 at a fraction of the cost.
