Amplifier 13C

The amplifier 13C provides bothway amplification over the frequency range 200 to 4000Hz on a 4 wire audio circuit. The gain in each direction is link adjustable in 0.5dB steps from -4dB to +27.5dB. The maximum line level is +13 dBm when the unit is powered from a -24v dc supply. All port impedance’s are link selectable for 600-900-1200 ohms, connections are available for HF and LF equalisation. Front panel U links provide circuit isolation and monitoring.

Equaliser 77C

The Equaliser 77C is designed to provide HF amplitude equalisation for physical circuits operating over the frequency range 200 to 4000 Hz when used in conjunction with the Kenton 4-wire audio amplifiers 113B and 13C. One is required for each 2-wire circuit. On card link adjustment of resonant frequency and slope with DIL switch adjustment of Q, permits precise amplitude equalisation of most copper circuits with negligible passband ripple.

Power Converter PU3767B

The PU3767B is a power converter designed to provide power at –24.0 dc from a nominal –48v exchange battery. The unit operates at high efficiency with low ripple and noise on the output and incorporates over-voltage shutdown and over current protection. The unit has remote shutdown facility, which can be used for operating the converter as a standby.

Eurobox

The Eurobox is made of high impact flame retardant ABS which can house one module for wall or desktop mounting. Internally the module plugs into a motherboard, which carries cable terminations, gas discharge tubes and line sockets. Size 320 x 160 x 60

Eurocase 6E7T

The Kenton Euro-case model 6E7T is a coated metal enclosure for office or equipment room wall mounting designed to house 6 modules in an internal 42Hp shelf. A printed circuit board backplane is fitted with IDC connectors for user wiring and screw terminals for power connection. Gas discharge tubes are fitted to provide protection to line connected modules if required. Size 300 x 380 x 158.

The PU4410 is a single extended Euro card power supply designed to provide power of –48 or –24 VDC at a current of up to 1 Amp from a nominal 240v AC mains supply. The unit features spike protection, low output noise, current limit and standby mode.

Ringer Unit 4470

The RU4470 is a 12 watt 24Hz ring current generator housed in a single extended Euro card module. The generator operates from a –48v exchange supply providing continuous or cadenced output with alarm fail output. The unit is suitable for mechanical bells, tone ringers or gen-gen signalling. The unit is fully protected against external faults.

Combining and Branching Unit CBU101A

The CBU101A is a general purpose single extended plug in Eurocard module containing three 600 ohm impedance hybrid transformer circuits and three 600 ohm resistive ‘Y’ pad circuits. The circuits are wired to Krone IDC connectors, as are connections to the outside through the DIN connector allowing field or factory programming. These connections are also paralleled to a 48 way DIL socket that can take a pre-wired header.

Audio Frequency Loopback Unit 4308

The AFLU 4308 is a line terminating unit, which is used to interconnect carriers metallic circuits to customer’s equipment. The unit can be used to apply a manual (local) or tone (remote) activated loop on a leased 4 wire metallic circuit for testing. A remote loop is activated by a 2700 Hz tone greater than –18dB received on the line RX port. The unit is field configurable for 2 wire or 4 wire customer equipment and may be locally or line powered.

Euroshelf 11E7T

The Kenton Euroshelf model 11E7T (12E7T) for office or equipment room 19" rack mounting is designed to house 12 Euro 92 modules and proprietary signalling cards.

A printed circuit board backplane is fitted with IDC connectors for user wiring and screw terminals for power connection. Gas discharge tubes are fitted to provide protection to line connected modules.
