Miniature Line Isolation Transformer - TR01335

tr013351.jpg (13695 bytes)

The TR01335 is a miniature high quality line isolation transformer, designed to meet the barrier requirements between Carriers Network lines and Subscribers equipment. The performance of the transformer is optimised for speech and data in the audio transmission band. The nominal matching impedance is 600 ohms and can also be used with complex impedances seen on most transmission lines.

The transformer has been designed to meet the safety requirements of British Telecom technical guide No.26 and BS6301 for subscriber’s apparatus and BS415 for general equipment. The transmission requirements of BS6305 and BS6328 are easily achieved with a good margin in most circuit configurations.

Construction of the transformer consists of a high permeability core in a double wound bobbin resin cast in a plastic case which can be fitted directly on to a printed circuit board, automatically giving a creepage distance between the isolated windings of 9mm.
